Geology and mineralization
The Clairy property is located in the Frotet sector of the Frotet-Evans volcanosedimentary belt. The Frotet sector hosts the Troilus Au-Cu porphyry mine (> 49 Mt of 1.09 g/t Au and 0.119% Cu) and the Tortigny volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit (0.5 Mt at 6.0% Zn, 2.2% Cu, 60.0 g/t Ag and 0.45 g/t Au), among others.
The Clairy property has potential for a polymetallic VMS deposit. In the Clairy area, this type of mineralization occurs at the contact between sedimentary units and basaltic flows.
